This Spring the Perrysburg Professional Firefighters Local 3331 was proud to award a $1000 scholarship to two Perrysburg High School Seniors. These two young ladies exemplify hard work and dedication with a passion for wanting to serve the community in the future.

Taylor Carpenter is our first recipient. Taylor is Attending Owens Community College currently and Majoring in Nursing. During her time at Perrysburg High School she held a 3.236 GPA, while being involved in multiple extra-curricular activities. Taylor was involved with CYO at ST. Rose, with the Volleyball Team, and was part of the American sign-language club for the past three years of her school. She also was actively involved with the St. Luke’s explorer program for her final two years of school to help her build that passion to serve others. Taylor also has expressed an interest getting her EMT license and following a path into Emergency medicine as a nurse and possibly Paramedic. We wish her the Best!
